PARKING TICKETS & PAYMENT

TICKET PAYMENT
If you've been issued a ticket for a parking violation, you can now pay online at:

https://gobble.rutgers.edu/eBusiness/cit/index.aspx

You will need to know either the citation number or the vehicle's license plate number.


TICKET APPEAL
If you feel a ticket has been issued incorrectly, please print out a copy of the Ticket Appeal Form.  When you've printed out a copy, please fill in all areas, and return to the Parking Department within 10 days of the issued ticket date.

Appeals are independently reviewed to decide if the fine assessed was correct or not.  You do not need to appear in court.  That option is for those who feel they cannot explain themselves well enough on the appeal form and wish to explain in person.

Fines either adjusted or dismissed will not be assessed an appeal fee.  If the magistrate decides the ticket was issued correctly, a $5.00 fee will be added to the violation amount.  The magistrate's decision is final.

CMD-P91 Decal Not Displayed  $15.00 Substitute Hangtags are free for permit holders driving a different vehicle temporarily. Otherwise vehicles need both Hangtag AND Decal.
CMD-85 Unauthorized Lot  $25.00 Students parked in Faculty/Staff lots; Faculty/Staff in Resident lots
CMD-P23 Out Mkd Stall/Blk Veh  $25.00 Vehicles must be within 2 parallel white lines
